Simply The Best........Bubba Style

January 24, 2011

In a world filled with negative people who all too often find the time to spread negative press around, even people with whom you have never had any association with, we love it when our our customers take the time from their busy schedules to share how they feel their experience with us was.

At Bubbas we are strict about quality control and we always try to follow up with our customers to make sure they are 100% satisfied.
And, even though we make every possible effort to ensure perfection we are human and everyone makes a mistake so if there is an issue we are aggressive about bringing resolution to it.

As such we wanted to share a very nice letter of satisfaction we received from  active duty Air Force Colonel Kett about a Camaro Bubba just finished building for him.

I must admit that like everything Bubba builds it turned out amazing. Not only is the car very quick but extremely anxious to be thrown into any twisty road you can put her on.

We are thankful to and for all of our wonderful customers and its an honor to work for them regardless of whether it is their classic car, building them a ground up hot rod, modern muscle or their daily driver.
It's what we call Takin' Care Of The Customer Bubba Style!

I've owned my 1985 Chevy Camaro for 26 Years as of Feb 2011.  Over the years I tried a number of upgrades and body work to keep it in top shape, including an engine swap from a 2.8L mutli-port V-6 to a small block 350 bored 30 over.

I'd always had dreams of making this car a street rod sleeper like you read about in the speed magazines but never found the right time, place or people willing to invest as much time and effort as I already had! In time all cars just get old.

About two and a half years ago, my son (then 8) saw a '34' copper colored Willy  sitting in a parking lot.  The vehicle was immaculate!  We had stumbled upon Bubba's East Coast Rods and Customs!  It turned out they specialize in second generation F-body Camaro's...the owner has one and had a sweet sliver machine he sold (not sure that was the right move?)

It took me another two years to save and decide but I finally got tired of my car (now dubbed "Big Daddy by my son Sean) being a garage Queen, so off we went in Aug of 2010.

Let me say upfront that nobody, I really mean NOBODY is as professional, meticulous, and caring as Bubba and his guys. I know this because they took a car that was really not road worthy ...AND made it SMOKE!  Really!! This is Northern Virginia and nobody (really I mean nobody!!) passes me on the right hand side anymore!  And let me say...THAT is a very awesome feeling.

I have never met a more involved, receptive and down-to-earth crew of guys!  It's clear their time is precious, they're busy, and have a lot of customers, but they treated me like I was one of their best friends and had known me (and my car) my whole life!

When you decide to take your car, street rod or custom somewhere, take it to Bubba's!!  Save your pennies and DO NOT scrimp because they don't!  True quality speed costs good  money, your hard earned money, but their honesty and openness is infectious and they WILL TAKE EXCELLENT CARE OF YOU!! They did for me!

I'm not an east coast guy, and when I retire I'm heading back out mid west or south west but I don't think I'll ever let anyone touch my car but Bubba!

Folks...they simply are THE BEST
