1932 Lowboy Roadster

Back to Part1

The lighting equipment that will be used to film this portion of the episode.

Tucker wipes the wheel down while Bubba stands back and makes sure everything is under control.

This wheel is cleaned up and ready for the shoot. I totally love the V8 logo Bubba did in the center of the baby moon hub cap.

The lighting is now in place and the TV car has been detailed and is now ready to film.

A nice look at the underside of this Bubba Style one off beauty.

She is now in position to film as the film crew begins to set up the cameras.
A huge thank you to Woodward Fabrication whose banner you see on the wall behind the TV car.

Woodward provides ALL the fabrication equipment Bubba uses in his craft to include the parts on the TV car!

Our Creative Director, Sean slips between the lift legs.
He is one hell of a nice guy and certainly has his hands full when they fly in to film the show.

Our crew can be a bit of a handfull. ;-)

Thank you Challenger Lifts for the years of fantastic trouble free lifts that Bubba uses to build these cars on!

Bubba looks everything over one final time before filming of this segment begins.

Dan mic's up the Andreatos Brothers in preparation for filming them.

Bubba shares all of her amazing highlights with the famous Andreatos Brothers.

Jerry is amazed at the attention to detail that has gone into every aspect of this build.
A huge thanks to PPG Paint who supplied the paint to Bubba for this build.

You can see the beauty of the paint and it's the reason Bubba and The Gnome shoot PPG paint exclusively.

The Andreatos Brothers are interviewed about this gorgeous car Bubba has built for them.

Just look at how stunning she is!
When you see her on tour this year and you look at her in person you will be in awe at the beauty of her up close.

Ray films her for the show.

Ray takes a break from filming as Layla arrives on the set and prepares to do her filming with the car.
Robin steps in to make sure Layla is ready to go.

Layla takes the stage.
Now, here's an interesting fact.

Layla handmade the pin up shirt you see her wearing just for this episode the night before!

Sean and Ray filming the jaw dropping Layla in action doing one of the things she does best, pin up modeling.

Do you really need a caption here?
OK then....thank you Classic Instruments for being such a special part of this build.
Classic Instruments Are Gauges Done Bubba Style!

Bubba gets ready to shoot with Layla.
Prepare to see the magic when they shoot together.

Bubba and Layla begin filming their segment of the show together.

Remember I mentioned the magic that happens when Bubba and Layla shoot together?
See what I mean?

Ray gets a nice tight shot of Bubba and Layla.

The light above Bubbas head hangs like a halo.
Look carefully under the Classic Instruments banner and you will see Bubbas actual hand rendering of the car when he was commissioned to build it a few months prior.

The magic continues........

Filming means L O N G days and having cameras in your face all the time.
I guarantee you will see this picture again somewhere.

Bubba and Layla wrap up filming their segment.

Robin, Tom, Bubba and Layla take a group picture together.

"Hold on, I'm coming" Bubba says.
It is very obvious that I am extremely tired.
At this point I had not been home for 2 days and worked almost 48 hours straight.o some filming together.

Pat Gets Fly likes this.

Bubba does his wrap up interview for the pilot of the new show.
